Shami Kabab sandwiches are easy to make, and an exquisite addition to the snack table; and with Simply SUFI Shami Kababs, they can be made in no time.
- 12 slices white bread
- Butter, softened, as requires
- 6 Simply SUFI Shami Kababs, prepared as directed
- 6 – 8 tbsp mint chutney
- 6 – 8 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 -3 tomoatoes, slices
- 1 onion, sliced to make rings
- 6 salad leaves
Heat a heavy based frying pan. Spread a little butter on the slices and heat them on the frying pan until lightly brown.
Take two of the slices and assemble one sandwich. Place salad leaf on one slice. Spread some ketchup. Place a Simply SUFI shami kabab. If you like, break shami kabab a little with knife and spread over ketchup. Spread some mint chutney. Place a couple of tomato slices and onion rings. Spread some more ketchup if desired. Cover with the second bread slice. Cut on the diagonal.
Assemble remaining sandwiches in the same way. Serve with mint chutney and ketchup.
